Grace Portal Management tool for a nationwide clinical study

Grace Portal

A system handling sensitive medical data

The Project

A consortium of medical clinics wanted to collect data on patients who had experienced side effects following plastic surgery procedures. This data would eventually serve to better understand the foundations of the practice, in order to prevent complications and improve treatment outcomes.

Our Solution

We developed a cloud-based platform that enables physicians to assess patients and document their findings. A series of follow-up forms were made available to the medical staff, allowing them to enter clinical data at every step. Physicians could also upload photos, track patient progress over time, and consult similar cases to support their clinical decision-making.

Turning medical complexity into an intuitive digital solution

Designed in close collaboration with healthcare professionals, our platform brings together powerful yet easy-to-use features, tailored to the realities of clinical practice.

A simple and structured clinical workflow

The software provides a clear and structured path for onboarding each new patient. Through a series of interactive forms, physicians can record personal information, medical history, treatments performed, and any adverse reactions observed. The forms include smart fields with built-in validations, automated calculations (e.g., BMI), conditional logic, and dropdowns adapted to clinical terminology.

Robust adverse event management

A dedicated module allows healthcare providers to document adverse events using a coded medical reference system (e.g., ICD-10), specify severity, treatment linkage, and the medical response. Built-in tracking tools enable them to monitor the progression of adverse events over time and generate standardized patient reports.

Secure access to clinical information

The platform also supports secure upload of clinical documents and images, in compliance with consent requirements. Physicians can review each patient’s complete treatment history and access a database of similar cases, making it easier to draw comparisons and make informed clinical decisions.

The Results

The platform enabled better traceability of clinical interventions and centralized patient data across participating clinics. It now powers a unique knowledge base that supports medical research, continuous improvement of clinical practices, and ultimately, better patient safety.
